Smart Project Management through Oracle Expertise

Prescience Technology

Ever since its inception in 2005, Brisbane-headquartered Prescience Technology with its management domain expertise has been delivering versatile project management services leveraging the cutting edge Oracle suite of technologies, empowering clients to achieve business goals. The prime objective of Prescience is to address the prevailing impediments such as limited reporting capabilities and inefficient project management. “We are a young innovative female-led company that has been powering some of the largest projects in the APAC region with our deep knowledge of Oracle Primavera—an enterprise project portfolio management software—and expertise in Oracle ERP,” affirms Loretta Bayliss, CEO of Prescience technology. As Australia’s leading Oracle Platinum partner, Prescience brings to bear its unique capabilities in the Oracle cloud and ERP ecosystem to fine-tune project management. With an eye on continuous value delivery, Prescience aims to foster a long-term relationship with its clients through its managed services and application support, delivering flexibility, staff augmentation, and cost benefits.

Having customer experience and collaboration as a critical part of the critical engagement strategy, Prescience provides targeted custom consulting to finding the right solution to its clients. At the outset of every client interaction, the company’s approach is to comprehend the business goals and the challenges of the client, and configure an off-the-shelf solution to meet their requirements.
“We explore the out-of-the-box functionalities of these solutions to avoid unnecessary complexity and cost overhead,” explains Loretta. Prescience provides workshops and demonstrative environments to help clients visualize the solution as it is being built and configured. Moreover, unlike other solution providers, Prescience provides clients with training sessions to promote ease of use. With this approach, the company doubles down on its commitment to deliver relevant and effective solutions to the clients.

From time and budget management to planning and evaluating projects of any size, Prescience enhances all the areas of the project delivery through its Primavera expertise. On the other hand, by implementing cloud-based Oracle ERP, Prescience empowers clients to have a holistic knowledge about the different procedures related to the project and gain greater ability to prioritize, plan and execute projects seamlessly.

We explore the out-of-the-box functionalities of these solutions to avoid unnecessary complexity and cost overhead

As an implementation highlight, one of their clients is a major oil and gas provider based in Australia who depended on dispersed systems with extremely limited visibility of financial aspects, materials, and resources. The legacy ERP used by the client predominantly depended on Excel spreadsheets. Forecasting threats, strategizing future goals, and managing cost became onerous. With the help of Prescience, they could mitigate the impediments and streamline the project management processes.

Driven by customer-centric vision, collaborative engagement strategy and an open mind for innovation, Prescience has won several accolades in the industry. Prescience has received No. 1 Primavera partner award in JAPAC and has been recognized as the Oracle Primavera ANZ Outstanding Partner of the year2013 by Oracle.

Prescience has expanded all across the APAC region and is now looking forward to enhancing its expertise in the technology domain while aligning with the rising demands of the industry. The company is adopting the modern technological advancements to bring about new innovations that will augment their prowess in the project management space. Embedding some of the adventurous wearable devices with extended capabilities, Prescience is bringing greater visibility and control in project execution while driving the ROI for Oracle technology.
